HT704 70HP 4WD Tractor with Shuttle Shift
Overcome Heavy Farm Work with the Rugged Hightop HT704
The Hightop HT704 is an industrial-grade 70 horsepower, four-wheel-drive farm tractor built for farmers who require more muscle for demanding agricultural tasks. Stepping up from smaller utility models, the HT704 brings substantial hydraulic capacity, heavier frame weights, and advanced transmission layout to manage medium-scale farmlands, deep plowing, and continuous commercial operations.
If your daily operations involve thick clay, heavy multi-row seeders, or large transport trailers, the HT704 delivers the structural stability and reliable torque needed to complete jobs ahead of schedule.
Key Technical Attributes
70HP Weifang Series Engine: A robust and globally recognized powertrain that delivers consistent low-RPM torque for heavy pulling while maximizing fuel economy.
8F+8R Shuttle Shift Transmission: Engineered with a specialized power-output transmission, enabling operators to switch smoothly between forward and reverse at similar speeds—perfect for front-end loader operations and tight headland turns.
Enhanced Hydraulic Lifting: Features dual rear groups of hydraulic quick-couplings paired with a forced up-and-down mechanical lifter to handle heavy implements easily.
Optimized Stability & Traction: Arrives standard with 4 front counterweights, 2 rear counterweights, and an adjustable wheelbase to prevent slippage on wet or uneven terrain.
Application Scenarios: Where the HT704 Excels
The 70HP chassis configuration opens up possibilities for heavier attachments that smaller tractors simply cannot operate:
Deep Plowing & Soil Prep: Optimized for drawing multi-share disc plows and heavy-duty rotary cultivators through tough, un-tilled soil or root-dense fields.
Precision Seeding & Fertilizing: Tows large-capacity modern seeders and fertilizer spreaders across expansive acreage with consistent power take-off (PTO) stability.
Heavy Farm Logistics: Ideal for hauling multi-ton cargo boxes and agricultural trailers for short-to-medium distance transport within and outside the farm boundaries.

Q1: What makes the 8F+8R Shuttle Shift on the HT704 better than standard transmissions? A: The 8F+8R Shuttle Shift (8 Forward + 8 Reverse gears) allows you to transition from going forward to backing up using a single lever synchronized at identical speeds. This saves hours of shifting time when doing repetitive tasks like moving dirt with a front loader or navigating narrow orchard rows.
Q2: Is the wheelbase adjustable for specific row-crop farming? A: Yes. The HT704 features an adjustable wheelbase track. This allows you to widen or narrow the wheel stance to match the exact row spacing of your crops (such as corn, potatoes, or vineyards) without crushing the plants.
Q3: What safety features come standard with the factory shipment? A: Every factory-direct HT704 comes equipped with a certified heavy-duty steel safety frame (ROPS) to protect the operator, along with a comprehensive front and rear weight ballast kit to maintain tractor balance under maximum loads. An optional sunshade canopy can also be attached.
